CQuartz SiC is our entry-level ceramic coating, and a smart first step into real paint protection. Built around Silicon Carbide, it delivers a deep, brilliant gloss with chemical resistance from pH 3 to 12, strong defense against water spots and mineral deposits, and an extreme smoothness that makes routine washing far easier. CQuartz Finest Reserve is the most advanced ceramic protection CarPro has ever made, and as a certified CarPro Reserve shop, Metropolitan Detail is among the select few able to install it. This premium hybrid formula uses quartz-infused epoxy nanotech particles to build a dense, ultra-smooth layer with a mirror-like, show-car gloss. It actively repels water, oils, road grime, bird droppings, and water spots, while standing up to acidic contaminants and harsh chemicals. Backed by 3-5 years of durability, every installation includes a full inspection, paint correction, two coats, and infrared curing for maximum hardness and depth.
Every CQuartz coating seals your paint with a glossy, hydrophobic top coat. Depending on how much swirl and scratch removal you want, additional paint correction may be needed, and that's priced after we inspect the vehicle. Heavy contaminants like overspray, moss growth, or excessive hard sap take extra labor, so those are quoted after inspection as well.

Paint Correction: The Foundation of Every Coating
This is what truly sets us apart. Professional Paint Correction removes scratches and swirls from your paint using the world's best polishes and techniques, not a shortcut. Most detailers use low-grade polishes that fill swirls with silicones and waxes to hide them. We remove them. Every ceramic coating package includes a light paint correction to prep and refine the finish before sealing. If you want to remove deeper swirls and scratches, we can take the paint further through multiple stages of machine polishing. Because that deeper work is so involved, it's charged by the hour on top of your coating, so the paint is fully corrected before it's sealed and protected.

CQuartz DLUX is built to handle it, with a high-temperature formula and over 50% pure silica that chemically bonds to your wheels and calipers for lasting protection. Unlike ordinary sealants that wash off after a few cleans, DLUX holds strong, makes brake dust and road grime easy to rinse away, and resists fading with built-in UV protection.
DLUX Trim Coat
Faded, chalky trim can age a car faster than anything else. CQuartz DLUX brings it back to life. Made from high-grade organic silane with 50% pure silica, this advanced coating chemically bonds to the pores of plastic and rubber, restoring a rich, deep color and glossy finish. Its built-in UV protection then guards against future fading, keeping your trim looking new for up to two years. We clean and decontaminate every piece of trim and lighting first, then apply two coats for full, lasting coverage.
Glassparency: a clearer view when it rains.
This one is easy to add while you're already here, and if you drive in Seattle rain, you'll notice the difference fast. As authorized Glassparency installers, we apply a water-repelling coating to your windshield and glass that makes rain bead up and roll away, so you see better in wet weather. It cuts glare, and it helps bugs and sap wipe off easily instead of sticking to the glass. A cleaner, clearer view on every drive.

How long does a ceramic coating last?
Depends which one. SiC is about a year, Professional 2-3, and Finest Reserve 3-5, as long as you keep up with washing.
Will it protect against rock chips?
No, and anyone who tells you it will is stretching it. A coating is about shine and easy cleaning. If you want protection from chips, that is paint protection film. A lot of people do both.
Do I need paint correction first?
Yes. A coating locks in whatever is underneath, so we polish the paint first. If it has real swirls you want gone, we can do a fuller correction.
How long will you have my car?
Plan on leaving it with us, since coatings need time to cure and Finest Reserve gets cured with infrared. Grab a free loaner and go about your day.
