At Metropolitan Detail in Redmond, we apply CQuartz Finest Reserve, our flagship coating. It uses a hybrid blend of quartz-infused epoxy nanotech particles to build an extremely high-gloss, dense nano-coat with real thickness, and it lasts 3-5 years. We take care of drivers all over Bellevue and Seattle.
This is the top of the line, and it looks it. Finest Reserve is built on a hybrid blend of quartz-infused epoxy nanotech particles, which lays down the densest, deepest gloss CarPro makes and gives the coating real thickness. It is impervious to oxidation and highly resistant to staining and water spotting, so it holds that showroom look through real Pacific Northwest weather. We put down 2 coats and cure them with infrared to harden the coating fully, all over paint we have corrected first. With proper maintenance it protects your finish for 3-5 years, well past any wax or sealant. If you are keeping the car, or you just want it looking its best every time you walk up to it, this is the one.

Every Finest Reserve coating includes a full wash, decontamination, and correction before the coating goes on. It takes a meticulous inspection and prep, because this coating is effectively permanent and the paint has to be right first.
CQuartz seals your finish with a glossy, hydrophobic top coat. Every coating includes a full wash, decontamination, and prep, because a coating is only as good as the paint underneath it. If you want more swirl and scratch removal than the light correction we include, we will take a look and quote it. Heavy contaminants like overspray, moss, or hard sap take extra labor, also quoted after we see the car.
Finest Reserve builds an incredibly dense, glossy surface that brings out the depth and clarity in your paint, so the car reads better than new. This is the deepest, wettest finish CarPro makes, and it is the reason people step up to it.
The coating is engineered to shrug off oxidation and the things that actually stain a finish: water spots, bird droppings, and bug splatter. It stands between your paint and the environment, and it holds that line for years.
This is a thick, dense coating built on a hybrid nanotech blend, which is why it outlasts waxes, sealants, and lighter coatings. With proper maintenance it protects your finish for 3-5 years.
The surface is genuinely slick, so water, dirt, and grime bead up and roll right off. Your car stays cleaner between washes and cleans up fast when you do wash it, even through a wet Redmond winter.
Mandatory cured with infrared cure lamps.
Durability ratings are based on real world use. Garaged cars cared for as directed go well past the stated numbers.
A coating only looks as good as the paint under it, and this one is close to permanent, so the prep is where the work is.
Where we start. Swirl marks, tar, brake dust, dirt, and bonded contaminants sitting in and on the paint.
We strip the surface with iron, tar, and clay decontamination. Clean now, but not yet smooth.
We level the paint, removing swirls and scratches through multiple stages of polishing.
A finishing polish brings the paint up to a clean, sharp reflection.
2 coats go on the corrected paint, then infrared cured for full hardness and gloss. A perfect surface.
OCDetailing in the Bay Area recommended Metropolitan Detail when I moved to Seattle three years ago, and I’ve been bringing my Macan here ever since.
Metropolitan Detail completed a full suite of services on my Macan: CQuartz Finest Reserve, Second Stage Polish, Glassparency, DLUX for wheels and calipers, interior detailing, and PDR for a small dent on rear passenger door.
Lee and Charles are outstanding, professional, transparent, and skilled at their craft. When Lee inspected my car to determine how much polishing it needed, he noticed a 1-inch dent on the rear passenger door and suggested a PDR solution on the spot, saving me the hassle of making a separate trip to another shop. When I picked up my car and casually chatted with Charles about PPF on a 911, he personally gave me a tour of their new workspace next door and showed me their work on a collection of cars (e.g., Porsche, Maserati, Ferrari).
Not once have I felt pressured into unnecessary add-ons or upsells. These men genuinely care about their work and quality. I'm extremely happy with the CQuartz, and I fancy bringing my next upgrade here for PPF. Highly recommend!
This truly separates us from the rest. A coating locks in whatever is under it, so if your paint is full of swirls, a coating just seals them in. Most shops fill swirls with waxes and polishes to hide them for a few weeks. We remove them for real, with multiple stages of polishing. It takes more time, and the reward is worth it. Correction is charged by the hour on top of the coating, and we recommend bringing the car by for an evaluation.

Finest Reserve is the top of the CQuartz line. If you want the same look with a shorter commitment, Professional runs 2-3 years, and SiC covers a year at the lowest price.
While your car is here, these are easy to add on.

A hydrophobic glass coating for your windshield and glass. It repels water, cuts glare, and makes bugs and sap wipe off easily, for a clearer view in the rain.

Over time headlights oxidize and yellow, which cuts the light they put out. We wet sand and polish them clear, then add PPF to protect them going forward.

A high-temp ceramic on the wheels and calipers so brake dust and grime wipe right off and they stop fading.
Faded plastic trim is one of the first things that ages a car. DLUX is a high-silica ceramic, over 50% pure silica, that restores black trim and protects it from UV fading.
Add-on pricing is subject to a vehicle inspection.
Quality work takes time, and you should not have to wait around for it. We keep a small free fleet, based on availability, so your day keeps moving.

3-5 years with proper maintenance, thanks to its density and thickness.
SiC is the entry coating at about a year. Professional is a nano-ceramic hybrid at 2-3 years. Finest Reserve is the flagship, a quartz-infused epoxy nanotech coating at 3-5 years, infrared cured for the hardest, glossiest finish we offer.
After the coating goes on, we cure the panels with infrared heat, which hardens the coating fully for maximum hardness and gloss instead of just letting it set.
No. Even the flagship coating is for gloss and easy cleaning, not impact. For chip protection you want paint protection film, and plenty of people do both.
A light correction is, so the coating goes on corrected paint. If you want swirls fully removed, we can do a fuller correction, quoted after we see the car.
Hand wash with a coating-safe soap, and skip wash-and-wax products, they gum it up.
Plan on leaving it with us. The prep is thorough and the coating is infrared cured and needs time. Grab a free loaner and go about your day.
