We take the swirls out. We don't paint over them.
This truly separates us from the rest. A coating locks in whatever is under it, so if your paint is full of swirls, a coating just seals them in. Most shops fill swirls with waxes and polishes to hide them for a few weeks. We remove them for real, with multiple stages of polishing. It takes more time, and the reward is worth it. Correction is charged by the hour on top of the coating, and we recommend bringing the car by for an evaluation.

No. A coating is for gloss and easy cleaning, not impact. For chip protection you want paint protection film.
Do I need paint correction first?
A single stage polish is included, so the coating goes on clean paint. If you want swirls fully removed, correction can be added, quoted after we see the car.
How do I take care of it?
Hand wash with a coating-safe soap, and skip wash-and-wax products, they gum it up.
